Non-Stop Birding overflow
Moths: Turnip, Rusty Dot Pearl, Palpita vitrealis, White Speck.I haven't looked at the books but think the pale pterostigma make the dragon a Red-veined Darter.
Fingers were crossed for something American. Next year!Brilliant- thanks again Paul.
Agree with the RV Darter - one of only 4 species of Odonate on the Azores.
I also had a blue dragon- just posted a pic above (click on to enlarge).
